This client got a 5 year waiver August 3rd but missed the email. They got the 10 day warning. So this is not "recent" as well, they asked for further documentation. 2006 and 2010 Theft unders.

All I can say is Yay!!!! I know it's wishful thinking but if the pattern holds my GF might have her waiver a week from Friday. *Fingers crossed It was submitted to ARO on June 3rd

MY LAST 6 WAIVERS. Last one was today, overstay "overstayed for 11 days in 2016" first time waiver. 89 days. She lives in Halifax.

Look at the trend here. 1 5year , 1 September letter, 4 -1 year waivers, all first time applicants (the 1 year waivers) I am not sure if this is a trend, or anomaly.

Yes total days, even if the waiver obviously is not going to arrive on a Saturday or Sunday.

May 10-August 18 for example. 3 months and 8 days.

The real issue is the fact that everyone it trying to compare because you feel so helpless. I have clients that are over 100 days....it doesn't matter if it "should be" here...it isn't. But us Canadians also like to complain about the weather, which is also out of our control, so I understand the waiting is frustrating.

An answer will come.

@J Rogers when you calculate the days, is it - the weekend days?

1 year waiver - Truck driver. Looks like 98 days?
No criminal record. Entered the United States on a fake passport in 2007-tried to get asylum. Left in 2009
First waiver. I do a LOT of waivers like this, because being in Brampton obviously a lot of South Asian residents fled Sri Lanka, Pakistan and India.
He actually got this is on Thursday, not today, but didn't notice the email until the weekend.

@Johnb2, I second that...I am super hopeful that we will be getting our approvals in 2weeks or less. Looking forward to it.

Sweet They are processing in the range of May 13 - 16th which means the June 3rd waiver we (my girlfriend) is waiting on should come through in about 2 or 2 1/2 weeks. She submitted to ARO on June 3rd.

My last 4 waivers; Note the timelines and the most recent is 89 days. Also I have a 5, a September Letter and 2 1 year waivers.

I will let other give their first hand accounts on this since I have never handed in a waiver, just sent others. But technically
1. You show the original documents, they look up your esafe file online
2.they take your biometrics
3. They might take DNA
4 They give your documents back to you , and send you home.

When one goes to the border for biometrics what do they ask for? Do they ask for your driver’s license and car registration or is it just your passport (obviously)? Any other documentation?

I think someone asked if any May submissions still outstanding, the answer is yes lol

September Letter!!!! 88 days but well worth it! She actually handed her waiver in with her BF who has a serious record. He is still waiting.

She travelled with a friend who claimed she was staying in the same place, which wasn't true. (2016) The friend was an exotic dancer, so they assumed she was planning on working in the US and so must the client be doing the same She was denied entry. I was pretty certain she would get a September Letter, and I am very happy she did.

A waiver granted today. Note 2 things,. 1 year waiver, first time applicant. Also, he was asked for court documents and we were able to provide SOME but not all in the 87 days.

Just to give you context. Also its obviously the fact he barely waited 5 years that resulted in the 1 year waiver.

Congratulations to everyone that got their waiver approval, I am so happy to see that things are picking up. I don't think we have more of May submissions anymore. It is safe to hope that this coming week we can start receiving June approvals.
This forum has been helpful with my anxiety so far.
