Post real application stories here. Not "A guy told me" or "a few of my clients" but specific client experiences so others can see accurately what is happening.

There are rare exceptions, but whether you file a waiver, or a waiver AND an I-212 you simply get a waiver in return. That's why I tell clients to wait. Its an extra $930USD for the exact same waiver.

Sorry, that was meant for the response below

Curious how many of us are summer or fall applicants ??

This 7 month timeline is bananas. My last waiver was 4 months and that included mailing time.

I really hope they pick up the pace or add some extra staff or something !!!

@Ms Banker Thanks for the response, hope it comes soon! My husband submitted to ARO May 30. Good luck!

I am also waiting for my approval as my papers were submitted to ARO May 26. This is my 2nd waiver application. Hoping the new year rings me some good news.

@J Rogers Hello, If a person receives a waiver, for something that happened over 38 years ago, is it possible to receive a “September Letter” from ARO in the future? Thanks

Kim replied 4 months ago   #1326

Hello All, Any responses from ARO for dates submitted May 26 to May 30, 2023? Still hopeful for some news soon! Thanks

Question here these people that have been asked to supply more information is it their first waiver ?

Mike k replied 4 months ago   #1324

Thank you @J Rogers !

Tina1 replied 4 months ago   #1323

@Tina1 Well, since the Waivers we are getting are taking longer than 6 months, I would say submit it whenever you want, you are going to have a gap in between either way.

We are getting in waivers from May 25 right now. That's a FULL 7 months.

Hi - I have a 1 year waiver. I’m wondering how soon can I submit the renewal application? Can I submit it 5 months after receiving the initial approval or is that too soon? Is there a history of entries/exits I need to show on my record before submitting tye next app? Thanks!

@J Rogers can I just travel to the USA even though my waiver is still being processed ? I don't think I'll receive a no because they made me see a doctor why would they make me do all that just to get a no ? But idk how they operate so

Samson364785898 replied 4 months ago   #1316

@J Rogers I have all the paperwork that I submitted I kept it with me, would u like for me to come and review what has already been submitted till the reply comes back so we have a calculated plan of action?

Samson364785898 replied 4 months ago   #1315

@Samson364785898

I would want to see the letter. We want to make sure we can overcome whatever reason they denied it.

J Rogers replied 4 months ago   #1314
