There are rare exceptions, but whether you file a waiver, or a waiver AND an I-212 you simply get a waiver in return. That's why I tell clients to wait. Its an extra $930USD for the exact same waiver.

Sept 5th yo the ARO. I am probably a March response or early April. Thoughts?
I’m not sure if anyone has the answer to this but once you get the email that your waivers ready are you able to use it immediately? Based on these dates my husbands should come like 2 days before we head to Florida , will it be useable right away ? This is his first waiver . Thank you !

For certain offences, sexually based being the obvious example, ongoing counselling or counselling AFTER you finished the court mandated is VERY important.
Time is absolutely necessary as well though. No time, then all the other factors do not matter. If you have "time" then the other factors have a chance.
Waiver denied. Sexually based offence
2011 15 month conditional sentence probation 30 months.
Tier I offender.
Sexually based offences are not IMPOSSIBLE, but they are DIFFICULT.

If you are in the middle of a current application, it might be easier to complete the application before the transition on Thursday, January 25, 2024. Currently their is approx 312k waivers pending with USCIS.
