Handing in Waivers -Quarantine and timelines - Post here

Post real application stories here. Not "A guy told me" or "a few of my clients" but specific client experiences so others can see accurately what is happening.

There are rare exceptions, but whether you file a waiver, or a waiver AND an I-212 you simply get a waiver in return. That's why I tell clients to wait. Its an extra $930USD for the exact same waiver.

Sorry, that was meant for the response below

@J Rogers Thank you John! So happy I finally got it!! This is my waiver he's referring to.

This is my second waiver with John and he's been super helpful and thorough throughout the process both times. I found him through this forum in 2018 when I did my first waiver and went into his office in Brampton to meet with him and got him to do it. First time we did it manually without e-SAFE. This time with e-SAFE. He walked me through the entire process in detail and answered all questions. He cares about helping people and will tell you like it is and what your chances are. Extremely honest and transparent (I had a friend who also went to him and John told him to wait due to his circumstances and not waste his money to just try).

If you're unsure on how to do your waiver, I highly recommend him and only him. His staff at his office are also incredibly helpful and friendly.

Thanks again!

@J Rogers If the pattern holds we are still on track to see June waivers around the end of this week. Assuming a bunch of the adjudicators didn't take extra days off this week. Hopefully they came back all refreshed and ready to work hard. Lol One can only hope.

This is a re-application. He got another 5 year waiver. Please note this was not granted today, but rather August 30th. 94 days.

Not a single waiver granted this week. I forward my phones so even though we were closed Friday I still take calls. Since May 2021 this has not happened, including Christmas Holidays.

So a very slow and unique August. I am sure September will see an uptick.

I know many of you are anxiously awaiting, so I am trying to post any news immediately so you can have access to more information. I know it doesn't make the waiting easier, but at least you can understand that EVERYONE is having the same problem, and you are not alone.

@June04waiver Funny because I keep checking it constantly too. I installed a browser extension that reloads the E-SAFE page every 4 minutes so the session doesn't time out. Lol I'll know about the waiver before the email arrives.

JohnB2 replied 2 years ago   #317

@ Johnb2 I am very hopeful we will get it soon. Lol, I see your post everyday...I keeps me hopeful, infact I refresh this site every 15mins to check if there is any update. I can hardly concentrate at work but I am sure we are next to be approved. You see see your girlfriend in person very very soon.

June04waiver replied 2 years ago   #316

@June04waiver Me too. That's why I'm probably posting more than anyone right now! LOL

The waiver is for my girlfriend and she can't come be with me until she receives it. So my whole life and my future is pretty much on hold for now. When we submitted the app, we were told it would take 3 weeks. Now 3 months later....

@Johnb2 Thanks for your response. The anxiety is killing. I am hopeful something will happen next week.

June04waiver replied 2 years ago   #314

@June04waiver

Nothing here. Submitted June 3rd. I'm thinking we will see it by Friday Sept 9th unless everyone took several days off for the holiday

JohnB2 replied 2 years ago   #313
