Fingerprinting Tsunami

J Rogersposted 3 years ago

Apparently the Canadian Government mailed out/sent out 27,000 invitations all at once. All these people must be fingerprinted.

Our previous "record" for fingerprints in a day; 21 sets.

Yesterday: 70 sets.

That is correct. We left at 8pm.

We expect this to continue for a few days.

I hope Michelle you are getting some of this as well.

Replies (recent first):

@Michelle I have a few calls form people who were desperate for appointments because they were going back to other parts of Canada, and I told them to wait until they were home and fingerprint local. So I am trying to spread it around.

@John, Thanks, I have not noticed an increase in fingerprints, but this is Saskatchewan, not the most sought after place for Immigrants to move to..LOL..

Michelle replied 3 years ago   #27

This morning was the first day since Family day weekend that I haven't had a flood of calls before 8 am.

We have 8 people booked for today, and its almost 830. It looks like the "curve" has flattened for now. I hope all my colleagues across the country (especially you Michelle) get to take advantage of the next group that is sent out.

J Rogers replied 3 years ago   #26

@John Again your questionable reading comprehension level is on display again. Let us also remember that we do not do fingerprints yet. Hence, we have no interest in them for the moment. I contacted my guy last week on this question, but he never got back to me on it. I contacted him again yesterday and he confirmed the existence of this program. Obviously, this is all a moot point anyway since we are not doing prints yet.

Btw nice elementary school deflection attempt EXLAX. However, you are the one that has already unquestionably been proven deceptive on this forum. You might want to enroll into some night school adult education courses Sport. 👍

Anyway Sport...why is your name not on the accreditation letters again?? 😂

K SCOTT replied 3 years ago   #25

@Ken just pointing out that without doing any research you pretended your guy in BC told you he had no one for the express entry program. So you were being skeptical without even looking at the links. Then you realized this made you look uninformed. So you pretended to call the guy finally then claimed he was busy.

I am pointing out that you lied about ONE of these at least (probably both) so I wanted to know if it was the first time, the second time, or both.

(I am betting on both, since you have no clients to even send that guy in BC and your in the UK now)

J Rogers replied 3 years ago   #24

Yeah John it is a device called a telephone. This device is used to contact people that are not located in the same building or such. An example is that Joe Smith calls you at 11am and says that he is going to buy lobster at 5pm. Then you call Joe Smith at 1115 and he said that he changed his mind. It is a wonderful device John and the new ones are wireless. You should procure one of the advanced wireless ones that does not have a rotary dial pad. 😂

You claim to do these cases but apparently have not heard of a telephone. smh

@Ken

Literally today you said this;

@ John it is interesting that my fingerprint guy has no info on this program. I trust his judgment more since his business is much larger and globally established than Jennifer's

On the same day you said:

I verified both media articles with my fingerprint guy just now and it checks out. His phone is also ringing off the hook. I literally heard it constantly ringing just now.

See the problem? Which was true? Neither?

J Rogers replied 3 years ago   #22

Ok Sport well you get a free pass. I verified both media articles with my fingerprint guy just now and it checks out. His phone is also ringing off the hook. I literally heard it constantly ringing just now. So yeah, you get a free pass. This is how we differ because I will acknowledge something if it is indeed true. You get a free pass about the “authenticity and existence” of the story. It remains to be seen if your phone is ringing like his though.

K SCOTT replied 3 years ago   #21

@Ken. Hopefully you read the articles and did your research. As you can see, they are doing 400 000 by the end of 2021.

I am jammed packed at 27 000. Imagine how busy I will be when the rest of the people get letters. But that's ok. We have a large location and enough staff.

J Rogers replied 3 years ago   #20

@Ken. Wow. When I can provide links, and proof, you look pretty foolish. Here they are AGAIN. (see below)

Obviously your fingerprinting guy didn't look into it. Then again...why would he help you? You are in ENGLAND. He is in Canada. Who is it again? I wonder if he is also a ClearNeed affiliate?

Buy Canadian.

For anyone wanting more information on the flood of immigration/fingerprints etc, here are 2 links.

It looks like 400 000 applications was accurate, so I hope for Michelle and my colleague in Montreal, this spills over and you also get to benefit from this. I certainly didn't pick Brampton as the "best place" to fingerprint, but it appears to be "ground zero" for this flood.

John perhaps you are trying to over compensate for other things/failures in life? You are not the only 5'6" male type baby boomer that buys the dodge ram truck/makes false statements truck to make up for other areas. smh

Again congrats(based on your "declaration") since you obviously need the money.

Anyway Sport, just keep doing what you do and we will do the same. Told ya my buddy in Manhattan buddy needs a houseboy. You can call him as you drive your Olds Delta 88 back home to New York when entering Niagara Sport. 😉

@ John well actually I have flown on C-141s, C-17s, Hueys & Blackhawks in the past in certain countries. However, it had nothing to do with fingerprinting. Also, not gonna elaborate too much on this topic. Hence, you are actually not necessarily too far off with your statement. I have also flown on a C-141 from McChord AFB in Washington State to Travis AFB in California before.

During that flight, the loadmaster kept walking to one of the windows and looking out at one of the engines. I got kinda worried but he reassured me that everything was ok. I noticed that when we landed at Travis, they pushed maintenance stand up to an engine and started pouring oil into it. I have also walked aboard a B-52 and looked into the cockpit of an F-15 before. However, you need the money from the fingerprinting much more than I do.

@Michelle

We don't do online booking, but that is a great idea we will look into. Since we always have at least 2 people here, and most times 3, answering the phones hasn't been an issue. I do like the ability to book the appointment myself because I can give details (cost, ID etc) but also for those who do NOT get appointments (like today we are doing 10-3 instead of 11-2 and in 20 minutes we were completely booked) I am taking their numbers, the day they prefer, and I am calling THEM to book an appointment on that day. So hopefully we don't "lose" them.

The downside is that we don't open until 10 but I had to be taking appointments since 8. LOL

My real question is why Ken hasn't already come up with a plan to charter a fleet of helicopters, come to areas with TOO Many people to be fingerprinted, and fly them to "a network of CIA trained fingerprint techs, all who have caught 1-3 serial killers in the past 5 years". He must be busy.

J Rogers replied 3 years ago   #15

@Michelle

I hope you are right and you and some of the other people get to benefit from all these fingerprints. If not, for the next wave we will fly you in like an oil worker, and have you work the fingerprinting night shift. Eventually, we won't even fingerprint ourselves, we will just have a room full of fingerprint techs in bunkbeds, fingerprinting in frenzied shifts.

J Rogers replied 3 years ago   #14

@John, maybe this is so new, that other locations have not been effected yet. Do you offer on-line booking? I started about 4 months ago with online booking through my website and love it. It has really cut down on my phone calls..

Michelle replied 3 years ago   #13

@Michelle

My colleague in Montreal, Manni, also has not had anyone for this program which surprises me, since Montreal is so multi-cultural as well. He said he knows a MORFO guy in Etobicoke (west Toronto) and they are only doing 10 a day, so no change there.

Although it is nice to be in such demand, the sheer volume is insane. I make my appointments from 8am-9am for the day, but by 830 there are no slots left. We have 2 phone lines, which are ringing constantly, but after 830, I am literally telling people "no, they can't come".

I have found the fairest way is to NOT take appointments for the next day. I only take them ON the day. This also ensures the people are going to come, and not "no show".

I feel bad for Citizenship and Contract Security, so for them, I make exceptions and book them for the following day. We were contemplating working Sunday as well, but its just too much. I am coming in at 6am to do paperwork, calls start at 630. (Even though I say don't call until 8) We leave at 8.

Luckily this won't be for good, or else we would have to change our model and add staff. I am so glad we went to a much bigger office a few years ago. This would have been a nightmare with covid without the space to be able to operate safely.

@John, I am going to update my website and speak with Sanfran. I was approached by Clear Need years ago, and have considered moving over to them. However, I just went through my Accreditation renewal and was finally added to the list..(thanks!)..and I am in no hurry to do that again. Yikes, what a process.. Thanks for the update and information.

Michelle replied 3 years ago   #11

@Michelle, sorry the 400K might be inflated. Might only be 110k in the next year. I am getting different opinions form different clients. So I just want to emphasize this is "second hand" knowledge.

J Rogers replied 3 years ago   #10

@Michelle we are ClearNeed affiliates. But we just went ahead and bought the scanner and it was so worth it. $1200-$1300 for a scanner. (that includes software, set up etc) It was worth it to US, but being in Brampton we get tons of people with relatives in South Asia, and we got one connection in South Korea. As well, immigration consultants send us people. We didn't set up a business here on purpose, we just happened to move here because of grandparents/kids etc. But it turned out to be great from the fingerprinting side.

I have been told they are doing up to 400K invitations over the next year. You have to make sure the ones in your city are not being funnelled to someone else. This madness is just for 27k. Imagine all the fingerprints. Ask your provider if other affiliates are businer because of this and make sure your easily found if people are looking for prints. It could just be that there aren't a lot of these applications in Regina, I am not sure.
