Waivers that were submitted before COVID 19 are still being worked on apparently

A client of mine submitted his third waiver in January 2020. He had some serious charges so has had a denial, a 1 year waiver, and he was granted a 5 year waiver that arrived TODAY, but was dated August 31 2020.

The reason I am posting this is for the people who submitted Waivers around or before Covid-19 and did not get a response yet. Although this client did get 5 years, he has extensive rehabilitation (he is an ordained minister now) but a serious record. So the "time elapsed " isn't a surprise.

Note the fact it is September 25 2020 and this waiver is dated almost a full month earlier.

I hope this helps someone in a similar situation.

His title is "Reverend" and he WORKS for the church, so it all looks very legit. Seems like a typical "bad boy finds god...and then goes even further to work for god" stories. I have no idea how MUCH that factors in, since I would need quite a few examples before I could quantify the difference between being deeply involved in the church and being the HEAD of a church for the purposes of rehabilitation. For me, a couple of examples is still an "anecdote" not absolute proof.

The main reason I posted this was the unusual timeline. The reason I gave some background was mainly to illustrate the delay in processing wasn't necessary because of Covid, but possibly because of seriousness of the record. We have so little "actual" information, I think its important to share as much as I can but obviously keep the client unidentified as well.

Is he truly ordained, or is he one of those "Church of the second house of frankestein" degree mill ordained? :)
