hi i went thru a lawyer mistake #1 ,, and he sent it in e-safe dec 4, 2023.. still haven't heard anything tried to ask the lawyer and hea said they were watching closely for it to be processed.. should i be worries its almost 8 months???

Replies (recent first):

@doal Can you provide an update? I also used Canada Pardons and mine was filed on Dec 8th. This should be my 3rd renewal but now I am very wary. I have no idea why this is taking so long when the last two took only about 4 months each, and people on here are getting them in around that time frame now. I had 3 US trips that I have had to cancel in 2024 and I have a sinking feeling that I may not be able to go to the USA this year at all. It's harsh.

@doal, "This inquiry has been addressed within the last thirty (30) days. No further action will be taken." I am not sure what this means, as most times the response is "Your file is at the Admissible Review Office for review". Can you ask Canada Pardons to take a screen shot of your file in E-safe and send it to you. I do this for all my clients when we check on status...

@doal Pardons Canada on St Clair? That is NOT a lawyer.

@Doal, John is right, your application needs to be migrated if it was submitted before June 6, 2024. If not, you might not have access to it..do not take the chance. Make sure your lawyer does this asap. Tomorrow is the deadline. John is also correct in timelines, waivers are all over the place, I have some from June of last year still waiting and ones from February are complete. It does not matter if they are renewals or new ones.

because i went thru a lawyer i'm at his mercy i don't even have the code to check on it myself on e-safe.. i got an email from the ARO site stating

This inquiry has been addressed within the last thirty (30) days. No further action will be taken.

not sure if it means they only answer one email per month as i sent one in on the 12th.. or its denied or what

@doal

I'm still waiting on November 30th. I login to esafe everyday and no status update. Same stupid message of submitted to ARO. I do not understand how people in February are getting theirs and nothing on mine.

it was an easy waiver from 30 yrs ago.. 35$ fine that was pain in full that same day in 1993.. he said he filed everything and is

Your US Entry Waiver Application was submitted online to the US via their new e-SAFE program on Dec. 4th, 2023.
We are typically seeing applications approved within 6-12 months. We are closely monitoring your file.

Is the lawyer getting the email? Did you ask him if he migrated the file over? If he did not, he needs to do it ASAP. There are waiver from Feb coming in now, but I still have some from before Christmas. Was this a slam dunk easy waiver?
