Updates on Waiver Approval Timelines and Processes

just going back to this point John made five years ago from this post:

Once you hit about 120 days and no answer it is either lost in the mail (small chance) or has been kicked to a supervisor. The supervisor/secondary is NOT fast. This is probably because of volume, plus the fact that none of the applications that reach them are "easy".

My question is:
Given that it's been five years since John's comment about the 120-day response time frame and my waiver was denied four years ago, do you think there have been any changes in the process or timeline for approvals since I reapplied in March 2024?
