TIMELINES FOR WAIVERS ONLY.

J Rogersposted 1 year ago

Because MANY people log on here to see timelines, not discussions, lets keep THIS thread ONLY for timelines. Then people don;t have to sift through to find out how long they are taking. I was trying to amend the old one but it got deleted, so I saved the last page, and added a bit to it. My apologies if you were looking for old info. The page was getting spammed all the time and had a lot of comments on it.

As for the timeline......when the fees went up the backlog slowed these applications down. That backlog is GONE. They could get every application they have done by Thanksgiving if they want. They do NOT want then done quickly. If this seems like "why would they do that?" then you aren't paying attention. Notice Canada has tariffs for made up reasons, and we have been threatened by Annexation. Notice Russia has not a SINGLE TARIFF. Notice Trump met with Putin in Alaska and got embarrassed. And STILL his "friends" have tariffs and the Russians.....nothing.

sorry everyone, my mistake, this is his FIRST waiver. Not a re-application.

Replies (recent first):

Cautionary tale

New client, applied a long time ago, they asked for Privacy Act because she has a pardon. She lives in Toronto, didn't want to come to Brampton to do the fingerprints. Took her time and then the place she went to did the SAME prints as last time. She went back but new prints did not arrive in time. So we still submitted her pardon, a copy of the ORIGIONAL prints we did for her Pardon, court docs. So in other words, everything EXCEPT the Privacy Act, but we also provided the exact same information.

They simply said "you didn't reply with enough info" and sent her the form letter they send in that case.

When the Privacy Act fingerprints arrive, she wants to appeal, which costs $800USD. (Its actually to "reopen" the file)

The shame of this is one mistake by a fingerprint company (I am sure it was a miscommunication) is going to cost her $800USD.

This Homeland Security is not giving anyone any leeway. So be careful and anticipate everything before you start.

These 2 waiver show the priorities of this Homeland Security. Case #1, long overstay. They don't trust her for more than a year yet.
Case #2 is guns. They simply don;t consider this a crime of Moral Turpitude. Also both clients are women.

1 year waiver

RE-APP Had a 1 year already.
Had an overstay from 2008-2019

@pweservices I did and that’s not the case I applied Feb 8 2025 can’t heard nothing

Big T replied 4 months ago   #303

@Big T
Submitted to ARO is the line that is important.

So when you go to the border, that is the "date" we are talking about when we say "timeline".

So right now, the people who went to the border in Early February 2025 should expect a waiver any day now. First time applicants only.

For re-applications, its around 90 days, sometimes shorter.

1 YEAR WAIVER

First Waiver
Misrepresentation 2011

Also noteworthy, we also asked that he be allowed to apply for a TN visa in the future. Despite it being in the letter and on page 6 of the forms, it was not put on his waiver.

@casper

Thanks. One quick question on the same subject, Do you attach evidence (e.g. offer letters or anything else) of previous employment or just state the employment history?

cal123 replied 4 months ago   #288

@Cindy

Well, since I have no idea who you are, and I have no idea who you are talking about, I guess its hard to assess your credibility.

Tell the person to contact me, I will issue a full refund.

Sadly, I know you are trolling. But if you insist, privately text me the persons name, I will happily remove the "personal" part of the letter, and ill publish it.

As long as you are credible. But we both know you are not. If clients have an issue with me, I would say my "letter writing" is NOT the problem.

But this is I guess my karma, for giving free information here, people can say ANYTHING with no credibility or accountability. And people like you, (we know your some guy who is bitter about something) get free reign.

I notice you have no history of posts, you suddenly "appeared".

Challenge accepted? Or is this just BS?

J Rogers replied 4 months ago   #287

@J Rogers I actually had someone told me you made so much mistakes in their waiver application and your writing is actually shitty. The personal letter was garbage compared to what they wrote. You only on here looking to get money from desperate people looking to get a waiver and they don’t think they can do it on their own.
