Still Waiting....Timelines and Updates

Michelleposted 3 months ago

Hi All,

Just to give peace of mind to those who are still waiting, you are not alone. Some of my client's files that are still showing "submitted to ARO" in E-safe and we are still waiting...

2021 - (2) 1 is renewal, 1 is first time.

2023 - Oct, Nov and Dec... (5) 4 are renewals - 1 is first time.

2024 - Jan - (1) 1 first time

2024 - March - 5 renewals

All of my February (10) submissions have been completed - this included renewals and first timers.

Half of March have been completed (8) - most were renewals.

None from April to now have been completed.

None of these waivers are particularly difficult - I would consider them standard.

The 2 from 2021 - I am assuming there is gang affiliation, but nobody is admitting to anything...so we will wait and see.

So if you are still waiting, it just seems that processing times are all over the place.

1-year waiver. First time applying. I had a grinder with trace amounts of weed in my car when crossing the border. No criminal record.
They only approved visitor entry, I am trying to update that to include TN, L1 etc. @J Rogers, Is this usually quick and straightforward?
Also, when do you recommend I re-apply? Immediately?

Timeline
10/23/2024: Status changed to Completed
12/8/2023: Status changed to Submitted to ARO

@Michelle Hello, When I try to log in to my e-SAFE and put my email address, password and pin code a new page opens "A login error has occurred. You are currently unable to log in to e-SAFE". Please can you help me to log in to my e-SAFE account to print my Waiver. Thank you

@Michelle I recieved a denial today- first time applicant- waited 1 year to the date for the response. Recieved a conditional charge in January of 2020....waited 3 years probation and then applied in October 2023. They said I didn't wait long enough and suggested I wait another 5 years before reapplying. What are your thoughts on this?

The CHI replied 2 months ago   #13

@Michelle no worries Michelle
I appreciate the update :)

Calyssa replied 3 months ago   #7

@Calyssa, sadly, no...so frustrating....

Michelle replied 3 months ago   #6

@Michelle any updates on October's and November's ? John has had a few come in the past couple days so that excites me lol

Calyssa replied 3 months ago   #5

Why do you think the November and December ones are taking so long ?

Calyssa replied 3 months ago   #4

@KLM, difficult waivers are sexual assaults, prostitution involving minors, Voyeurism, Deportations with or without a ban, previous denial waivers. Each waiver can be difficult, some more then others.

Michelle replied 3 months ago   #3

what is considered a difficult waiver?

KLM replied 3 months ago   #2

I mean.... isn't that kind of nuts that some re-applications are taking 10+ months and others are taking just 4??? The whole "waivers are processed based on the order in which we get them" seems to be a bold faced lie?
