Question on I-192 Timelines and the Idea of “Processing Cycles"

K Scottposted 2 months ago

One thing worth keeping in mind is that CBP does not publish or confirm processing cycles for I-192 waivers.

People sometimes notice clusters of approvals and assume batching, but adjudication is not calendar-driven. Files move based on individual risk review, background clearance, and internal prioritization that isn’t visible to applicants.

That’s why two cases filed around the same time can have very different timelines. Please note that it has been this way at DHS since 2003 and even back to the days of the INS.

Following the above post, another example.

First time applicant, Misrepresentation. I told him since he went to the border February 12 2025, and because I have already had a January 14th and January 30th, that it should be in the next 2-3 weeks. (we talked on Monday)

And here it is.

1 Year Waiver

12/23/2025, 11:33 AM : Status changed to Completed
02/12/2025, 08:30 PM : Status changed to Submitted to ARO
02/04/2025, 04:38 PM : Status changed to Paid
02/04/2025, 04:35 PM : Status changed to Signed
02/03/2025, 07:32 PM : Application Created

So all February people, watch your email closely. This doesn't mean anyone before this should panic, it simply means they are working on January-February 2025.

This post shows a lack of understanding of waivers.

1. You can tell by the application numbers how many waivers are in the pipeline

2. There are 2 DISTINCT line-ups. I illustrate this CLEARLY in the "Timelines" and use ACTUAL data.

Ken Scott used to know "more" but he won't even use eSAFE, so even if he WAS doing waivers, he has no access to Homeland Security's "timelines".

I have idea why he would post this in a forum where even a casual observer KNOWS the timelines because they watch what is posted on eSAFE.

Look Ken! This is the "long line-up" which is for first time applicants

Notice Ken, these are FACTS. eSAFE made this possible. Also having actual CLEINTS, so I can get access to data.

I assume you lobbed this softball to me as my Christmas gift. Thank you! It is the perfect size.
