Pardons and Waivers Company

Humor for the day, Pardons and Waivers calls me to ask how many sets of fingerprints does their client need to do a waiver application? I advise the standard Travel/Waiver is required and a 2nd set if they have a Pardon. They should do the Privacy Act - Pardoned file prints also, to which she has no clue what these are and starts asking questions.. I wish people would research companies they hire more carefully...I sure her client is paying thousands of dollars...

On another note: Anyone on here who has applied and successfully received a waiver as a former member of HA? I don't need a lot of details, just whether you were successful.

Hi John, Thanks! I was thinking the same thing, the personal letter will need to show a great deal of rehabilitation. This person was a "patch" member, which makes me a bit hesitant, as I believe that you need to do some "things" to become a patch member..and of course no-one is going to talk about anything...so I will call you if I take the case..I gave him the 50/50 chance speech, so we will see if he goes ahead..

@Michelle

Which company was it? That's weird, they can't be a brand new company....I wouldn't think but maybe a new employee?

I have had clients who were members of various biker gangs. If they are a current member and the police know this, my assumption will be that there will be no waiver granted.

Past members? A little tougher now but not impossible. The personal letter would have to go heavy on the rehabilitation part. If your attempting one call me anytime, i'll give you my 2 cents on how to tackle it.
