Pardon Companies

When I am at the Airport I meet a lot of people who use other companies that do waivers. Here is a story to illustrate how bad one popular one is.

I met a guy, lets call him "D" at the airport 5 weeks ago. Pardons Canada on St Clair in Toronto client. He was already annoyed that they had made him wait for MONTHS for his waiver package. He was filing through eSAFE.

He called me today for help. No response from Homeland Security 5 weeks later....I told him I had never heard of this but that the waiver was coming to Pardons Canada, NOT to him and that they must have it. (He had filled out a G-28 using some lawyer in North York who I assume never sees these waivers)

Guess what? The waiver was granted about 4 weeks ago. Pardons Canada CLAIMED they just sent it to the wrong email. I was ASTOUNDED. A client gets a 5 year waiver, he applied almost a year ago through your office and that doesn't warrant a PHONE CALL of congratulations??? "D" was pissed!!!

I have had many people who were past employees of this company approach me and try and sell me "leads" they had taken when they quit. I always refuse to buy leads but the stories they tell me about this organization show a complete disrespect for anything than making as much money off each client they can. AVOID. They pay a lot of money to be at the top of the google search and sadly that seems to work.

Did you have a bad experience with them or another company? Its important to put a review on google. It helps the businesses that try and do a good job, and helps put the bad guys out of business, which is only right.

I have a person problem with this company because they use deceptive practices such as claiming they are a "charitable non profit". They are NOT.

I agree this is quite deceptive. Horrible rating on BBB and the comments seem to back up what 'D' said. https://www.bbb.org/ca/on/toronto/profile/pardon-services/pardons-canada-0107-1164230

Additionally they've managed to get themselves on a lot of municipal directories. See this one: https://peel.cioc.ca/record/BRA2203

We now have a subforum for comments, reviews and questions regarding waiver service companies. I think this thread should probably be moved there but will keep it on the main page for visibility.
