@John, That is great, I have also had a few Pardons granted within an incredible timeline, and others are taking forever. LOL..I think it is just strange times.

@Michelle you will appreciate this.

Had a waiver client who we sent for court documents because "one day she wants a pardon" apply for her pardon.

So she came to the office on August 9. We did fingerprints, and sent for the local police check immediately since we had the court documents.

We had her measurable benefits done because we had done the waiver and written the personal letter.

Her pardon was submitted on September 16, we got it in the mail today, 41 days later granted.

Total time? 78 days.

I had a client call me about this recently as well. The problem is that this was before the election, and only got a first reading.

I have emailed for clarification, but sadly, I think this bill is dead in the water now. I think they have to re-introduce it. I will let everyone know once I have more information.

Michelle, the BEST part of this legislation was that people who paid fines late, would no longer have to wait 3-5 years to become eligible.
