How to ARO notify the decision?

kennyjr01posted 2 years ago

My finger printing was completed on 3-Jan of this year for my first i-192 waiver. My offence was related to 212a6cii back in 2011/2012 when I was in US. My question is how do ARO notify the attorney, do they get an email alert as soon as they complete the review and made a decision or attorney has to log in to the e-safe to review the status periodically..?

@Samson

What is the document?

I forgot to add an original document uploaded online to the CBP office. I want to know if my application would be denied?

@J Rogers

My waiver is approved. 5 years multiple entry. 27 days from the date of submission.

I just want to thank you for the very helpful information you’ve provided.

In line with other timelines and approved first time waiver durations I have also received 1 year waiver. It took around 60 days after I have been at the border.

@J Rogers I’ve made a stupid and terrible mistake on submission of my waiver, everything went well except I forgot to bring the original fingerprints Form C216C. 😄 the CBP officer ask the supervisor on duty on the situation and after I was told that ARO may contact you later to send that original copy to them.

I was thinking a delay on the process.

I submitted also a FBI clearance as supporting documents. I already received the email stating the my waiver application is already submitted to the ARO. When I left the POE they said wait for 1.5 months for the status check.

Thank you

@rae24

I doubt it. I think they have very little input.

@J Rogers Thank you. The CBP officer who processed your waiver at the POE, they give feedback to ARO? I mean give recommendations, suggestions or give comments on you to the ARO based on your documents presented and your behaviour at POE.

Thank you

@rae24

Once the application is "locked" you cannot add anything.

@J Rogers I have additional documents that can add up to my strong ties here in Canada but I just got that documents today and the e-safe supporting documents is already uploaded.
Theres no option on the esafe log in to add a supporting documents.

is the CBP allow it to hand over additional copy of documents? on the biometrics at POE

Thank you

@J Rogers Thank you very much

@rae24

As long as they have a passport and nothing to hide, no problem.

@J Rogers Thank you for the information. Can I bring my spouse with me going to the US POE when submitting the waiver? is it allowed? Thank you very much

rae24 replied 2 years ago   #6

@rae24 I never send any clients with the actual forms. Just the original "documents" and the proof of payment.

I consider it a waste of paper. Your only doing your own waiver, so if you prefer the security of having it, it isn't a problem.

@kennyjr01 hi kenny, I was about to do the same thing. I want to ask if you do esafe?
if you did esafe, upon going to POE for fingerprinting, Do I have to print the i-192 form to present in the CBP officer?

Thanks

Thanks. Its 39 days since I have been at the border. I would assume since it’s my first waiver they may take more time. For the first time waivers, do you have any examples or timeline you have observed for your cases @J. Rogers.

Kennyjr01 replied 2 years ago   #2

They send an email to the clients email about 30 days after you are at the border. I am not sure how it works when an "attorney" does it to be honest. We always log in as applicant, and say we are the "preparer",
