With the US government raising the waiver fee to $1,100 USD, it's more important than ever to be aware of whom you hire to prepare your US entry waiver case. But that's not all – with Donald Trump's return to the presidency in January 2025, obtaining a US entry waiver will only become more difficult. This is not the time to cut corners or take risks since the US entry waiver process is getting harder. My contacts at the US govt to include the ARO and CBP have confirmed this with me over this past weekend. They gave me even more detailed info that I won't share since this will help us absorb the coming changes and the main reason for today's post.
Why is This Important for You?
1. Fee Increase and Stricter Policies: The US government has raised the waiver fee, but that’s just the beginning. Trump’s return to power will mean tougher regulations and more stringent adjudication for US entry waivers. It’s going to get harder to get approved.
2. Our Fees Have Changed: Due to these upcoming challenges, we have adjusted our fees to ensure that we can continue providing the high-level service and expertise you deserve. We use the latest DHS regulations, manuals, and supplements that discount waiver companies simply don’t have access to—and neither do Canadian immigration lawyers. This gives you a significant advantage in ensuring your waiver is filed correctly and stands the best chance of approval.
3. Avoid Discount Waiver Scams: Discount waiver companies might look like a bargain, but they are often unqualified to handle your application properly. These companies don’t have access to the critical resources we use, which means your waiver could be filed incorrectly, risking your entire fee and your ability to cross the border.
Its actually hard for us to post here since we are way too busy and don't have a lot of free time. However, the bottom line is, most of you can’t afford to throw away $1,100 USD. We’ve been hearing from clients who’ve paid this "special" price to certain discount waiver companies, only to have the company cut off all contact once the payment is made.
In many cases, people have even paid and ended up with a denial, only to find out the cost of fixing the issue is far more than they expected. So, take this as a word of caution—buyer beware. So far our message has been working and people are now waking up to the things that I have been saying on here since 2017.
Here is a recent media interview where I was invited down to talk about these US border crossing issues like Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking( PPT) convictions here in Surrey, BC.

Also, don’t fall for the other scam where these companies are telling you to get a pardon and you won’t need a waiver. A Canadian pardon is NEVER recognized by CBP. We show people now how to do their own Canadian pardons and you don’t have to pay anyone to do it. We do not charge anything for this service. These videos were made when the Canada govt fee was lower but the process is still the same.

Feel free to join our ever growing FB group where we now have a couple hundred members and growing weekly. Over there we help people with their waiver files and this includes people that are doing their very own files themselves. Its just a way to give back to the community.
Ken the Grifter.
-Pardon fees....he is so out of touch he doesn't even realize the "fee was lower" is incorrect. Its $50. It was last lower in the early 1990's when it was free. Ken has never done a pardon in his life. Some pardons CAN help you avoid waivers but not all.
-If you want to see how ridiculous Ken is, listen to the interview. "If you have cocaine on a mirror or glass table, they have you for possession AND use". What?
Ken still won't do waivers through eSAFE, (because he doesn't want to learn how)

Except, as you pointed out, NEW President and NEW head off Homeland Security, and notice Ken doesn't even point out who the new appointee is, because he has NO CLUE. Ken has FEW waivers EVER on the go. His "office" is a business center/mailbox he uses on occasion.
Ken has NO connections to anyone at CBP. He never has. Under Trump in 2016 things DID get harder, for clients with sexually based offences. I told everyone with these offences NOT to apply. Ken actually was taking money and insisting that he could get waivers for SA, and had to refund one clients money because he was rejected. Which I predicted and refused to take him money because of that.
Ken is a lot like Trump. He isn't dumb, but he does dumb things. And he has no ethics. Sadly, he actually does have SOME knowledge which is wasted on trying to chase grift. He spent all of covid in the UK. I am sure he is not a Canadian Citizen. Not that he SHOULD be, but it does mean that half the "experience" he claims to have is fake.
Ken won;t let me in the Facebook group because he knows I will out him as a scammer.
