court record for us arrest

Sam 84posted 9 months ago

Hi, I was arrested for possession in the usa in 2012. They found out in 2022 during an unfortunate verification (for training a new officier to use a database!)
Assuming that they have the information, Do I need to provide the court document if the crime was commited in the US?
Also I see that some grounds of inadminisibility require a drug test (health ground i.e drug abuse). When someone gets a ban for pot possession, does it fallls into the crie conviction category or the drug abuser catogery, or both?
I appreciate the input

Replies (recent first):

Would recreational pot use in Canada be enough to convince an adjucator that my judgement would be too altered to Travel again without resisting the urge to consume the herb despite their federal laws which I now understand?!

They will likely ASK for court documents. Its common sense if your caught with drugs to prove you no longer USE drugs.
