I think they will allow Canadians, remember it was Canada that was adamant about keeping the border closed, not the United States.

Canada would not allow Americans if Canadians were not also allowed. It is in fact pressure from the US that made Canada make a decision on this.

Don't forget, NON Vaccinated Canadians can travel RIGHT NOW as long as they fly.

Fully vaccinated U.S. travellers allowed to enter Canada as of Aug. 9
Canada's federal government has announced Monday fully-vaccinated travellers from the U.S. will be allowed to enter the country as of August 9, with a Health Canada-approved vaccine.

However, unvaccinated individuals will not be allowed to enter Canada for non-essential trips. Pre-arrival COVID-19 testing will still be in place, but mandatory post-arrival testing for fully vaccinated travellers will be scrapped in favour of a random testing process.

All other fully vaccinated international travellers will be allowed to enter Canada starting September 7, on the condition the country's COVID-19 case counts remain low and vaccination rates keep trending in a positive direction.

@John, I hope so.. Saskatchewan is restriction free on July 11. NO more masks, crowd limitations and social distancing. Should be interesting. How is Ontario doing? Alberta is also moving towards restriction free, but I think Manitoba's numbers are still high.

It does SOUND like July 21st is going to be a SOLID date because of pressure form the US.
