Border will NOT open August 21. Pushed back "officially" to September 21st.

I will contact Homeland Security on August 21st to be sure, and maybe take a trip to verify. It seems like we will have to pin our hopes on September 21st as the day the border re-opens for Waivers. If not, applicants will be stuck paying the higher Homeland Security fee on October 2.

If anyone hears something different, for example, that the border is closed but they are taking waivers, please let everyone know.

@Googlyeyes We have denounced the system in earlier posts. Everyone has. I am not promoting anything, other than information that people can use as they see fit. I have posted free information on how to do a waiver, what happens to MY clients and why to avoid certain places. There are complete lists of how to do it yourself, if so inclined. You obviously haven't read far enough back. People who have been here for years can tell you that when Ken Scott is NOT posting, its simply Q and A or updated information. Michelle is blameless, and again has simply given free information when requested. If I tell someone that his claims are fake, and your going to get ripped off, that is helpful, especially if I post proof. Ken Scott talks about my pictures on Facebook, my family, and this is because i exposed him ON HERE. The people reading benefit when there is frank discussion about our differences. If the three of us collaborated and always agreed, then how could you trust we were being honest.

Michelle and I run businesses that are legitimate. The RCMP will NOT accredit you unless you have been carefully vetted. I have tried to end the bickering MANY times, Ken Scott has no business right now to speak of, so he write personal attacks. My comments are about his deceptive business practices, and the fact he is not doing ANYTHING he claims. His are about my personal appearance, my Facebook, and my family. Read the posts, there is a clear difference.

@Michelle, @J Rogers and @ K Scott

How do you expect people to trust you when all you do is bicker at each other all day?

This website was made for people that need advice for US waivers. Instead, you guys are at a war of words trying to promote your businesses. Not professional and very discouraging.

What needs to be done is for everyone to denounce how unfair the system is for everyone who had a minor indiscretion in the past and now must pay exorbitant fees, recent hike, to enter a country next door. Fortunately, most Canadians don't need waivers but both countries need to stop barring entry for people that have been crime free for over 10 years.

Anyways, yet another great website that has been destroyed by waiver companies.

Driving to the border is a waste of time if they are not going to reopen on Aug 21. People are likely going to get stuck with the new fee. You are going to wait until Aug 21 but I constantly check in with them every other week and they give me the same info. Nothing can be done and CBP does not want people driving down asking this question as one of my guys did this and got yelled at by CBP. So yeah it may not reopen until 2021.

They just announced this here in Saskatchewan on the news..I am hoping that they might start taking waiver before, but I doubt it..I would not be surprised that people will not be able to deliver applications until October 2.
