Basis of favorable action

On my waiver it is written in the basis of favorable action : humanitarian
What does this mean??? Also why is my occupation and employer are written on it?

Replies (recent first):

@BobbyD This is how they have ALWAYS done waivers.

"Humanitarian" because they are showing "compassion". There was a time where waivers were never longer than a year, so putting the employer and occupation were actually important.

You can change employers without any problems or having to change your waiver.

If you are going to apply for TN or "O" or any other type of additional visa, this MUST be on the waiver.
