AROinquirywaiver. Response

Hi,

This is a response my client received when tracing his application. It is actually more then I expected. This is for a November E-safe application for a renewal.

It is currently pending further review.

Forms I-192/I-212 waiver applications are processed in the order in which they are received. Additionally, due to
the individual circumstances of each waiver application, there is not a set timeframe to provide as to when an application decision will be completed.

The CBP ARO is currently receiving an increased volume of waiver applications with processing times averaging between 6-12 months. Updated
processing times can be found at https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cbp.gov%2F&data=05%7C02%7C%7C91864e16c7804935c8bb08dcc3836644%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C638600216340145189%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=mewyHpW8dtQ6vbY2hdUqf87QTXtJUDQZSTtjzaw%2FIXg%3D&reserved=0 and accessed by entering "I-192" or "I-212" in the "SEARCH" box or via the e-SAFE website here.

Conversely, if the applicant has an urgent or compelling need to enter into the United States while awaiting adjudication of their application, they may apply for humanitarian parole. The Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security may, at his discretion, parole into the United States temporarily under such conditions as he may prescribe on a case-by-case basis, for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit, an alien applying for admission into the United States. Humanitarian parole cannot be used to circumvent normal processing procedures, or as an instrument to bypass preference immigrant visa availability or processing for refugee status. Parole is an extraordinary measure, sparingly used to bring an otherwise inadmissible alien into the United States for a temporary period of time due to a very compelling emergency.

A request for humanitarian parole must be submitted to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on Form I-131, Application for Travel Document.

Replies (recent first):

I must say the waiting season has been challenging. I missed my partners graduation and even though there were other ways to show supports and be ‘present’
I have been so overwhelmed and feel like my relationship is on the line. I am hoping for the best possible outcome. I’m 6 months in

The wording processed in the order in which they are received is convoluted. I am seeing folks say March 2024 applications are being processed sooner. It sounds like that is what is overwhelming/upsetting for people. I submitted mine in March 1 of 2024 and I am just trusting in God that I hear back soon.
