Hey All
I have 2 charges from 2004 for possession with intent to distribute. Thing is, I was pardoned in 2009 and only have the pardon letter? Will my I-192 be rejected because I dont have court documents to support the application?
Where are you handing in the waiver? If its Ontario, you might be able to get away with no court documents. BUT, they might also want confirmation of the substance. Michelle is absolutely correct, a letter saying the documents cannot be obtained is fine, but indictable offences are kept for 40 years, so they should be able to give you something. The substance and proof of what it is is why they would want them in this case. Your personal letter should have a high level of detail in it.
@Bobchop - You should be able to obtain Court Documents still for this even through it is Pardoned. If not, a letter from the court house advising that court documents are unavailable is acceptable. In Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba, court documents are required. This has not changed since using E-safe.
