Hi everyone, I was granted a pardon and included it as supporting documentation in my U.S. entry waiver application. I was told and didnt need the page that was signed by a board member, which mentioned a past fraud complaint (no charges filed), but I included the other pages, which were signed by Clemency, the Record Suspension Division, and the Chairperson. Has anyone submitted a partial pardon document for a waiver, and did it cause any issues? Any advice on handling this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

@Mary That date isn't the "date" you are handing in your waiver. I know its confusing. Pick a date 3 months in the future, but it really doesn't matter anyways.

Hi! I have similar questions as @Eddie0303. I will put the port that I plan on going to for my Biometrics, but what about the date? At this point, I'm still waiting on my RCMP fingerprints to come in the mail, so I don't know the exact date I will go do my biometrics at Point Hope. The form asks for a specific date...

you are absolutely right. Just as we see long lineups and delays in passports, just as we see airlines struggling and having to cancel or delay flights, the amount of people suddenly trying to travel all at once has created a traffic jam.

I have new clients applying, regular clients renewing, and many clients who WOULD have renewed but didn't for the 2 years were had the pandemic. So it is definitely the perfect storm.

However, as frustrating as this is, the aftermath of 9/11 was much worse. We had some waivers that took close to a YEAR.

This will get better, I predict by the late fall.

I suspect more folks handed in applications this summer and possibly more US government employees handling these things are taking summer holidays thus a “perfect storm” to create a backlog of waivers to be processed.

Just a complete guess/supposition on my part here. Perhaps come Fall time and when the summer holidays are over then we may see the timelines decrease a bit.

@RG that's the most annoying thing to miss the events you planned for. Mine is coming up too.. I'm hoping will hear from them next week if not I'm screwed up

I was told that my situation was a no brainer and a waiver would be given no problem. It’s my first time waiver and I was even okay with a 1 year waiver. I had a huge trip planned with my wife and daughter but I missed it. Pretty bummed to say the least. It’s definitely in the 75-80+ (I’m on day 75 today) range maybe even more considering the lack of updates. It’s silly because it’s the busiest time for travel given it’s summer months.

At this point I don’t even care when mine comes now but I will update on here regardless.

@Beu I tried checking other forum for I 194 waivers but this is the one that shows up. I don't think there's any where else you can check.

It’s unbelievable that there still has been no update? Is it possible that approvals are not being given? Or are people just unwilling to share? It’s confusing for me that in almost 2 weeks, there’s been nothing. Or is there somewhere else we should be checking updates? Mine is 75 days since submission and 73 days since biometrics today. Any advice. @RG

@RG oh sorry you missed your trip to the Disneyland... its not fair at all we pay so much for the waiver and they take their time to do it whenever smh. I still have two more weeks before my trip to the usa so fingers cross I hear from them next weeks.

Goodluck i applied May 3rd and I’m at 73 days today and had a trip planned to Disneyland with my daughter and i couldn’t go. Really disappointed and confused how zero updates have been made for end of April + May. Seriously feels like they took a vacation at the worst time possible.

May applicants any updates yet. It looks like they forgot about the may people smh.. I have an important event coming up on the 29 in usa but it looks like I will miss it. I applied in May 8 and still nothing. Just overstayed for 3 years no criminal record.

Is this section not different than where biometrics will be done? Because I don’t have definitive travel plans to the US at this point and I’m just trying to have waiver in place prior to any travel plans this section is confusing. Do I just make up some travel plans or have to have something planned before I can complete this section?

No, just say "up to two weeks" You can stay longer, don't worry.

I meant that port you put is the one where you do your biometrics, but once the waiver is granted, you can travel through ANY port.

Yes done thru esafe. Was just unsure of the wording in this section as it asks to detail travel plans (which I don’t have yet). If I’m only completing this for biometrics, my length of stay would be 1 day? Questions 20-25 on the travel information portion of the waiver.
