Moving to USA?

Lookingtomoveposted 3 months ago

It’s no longer safe for Jews in Canada under this government. Most of us are seeking exit plans.

Am I correct in presuming I can’t move to the States with a criminal record? Is there anyway or process to be done? I got my record expunged where my crime occurred (drugs, Indiana) but I still need a waiver when I visit.

Replies (recent first):

@MovetoTulsa

I think you lost credibility when I completely embarrassed you. Maybe respond to that one first, but it doesn't sound like you should stay in a country you clearly hate so much. BYE!!!

J Rogers replied 2 months ago   #35

@J Rogers And you have Canada, Palestine and ISIS together. I would say who knew, but I guess thats right up your alley.

P.S. Hilarious you bring up rapists when Canada literally refuses to deport rapist immigrants - I guess you're loving that. More waiver clients for Johnny!!! $$$$$

@MovetoTulsa

"Anti-Semitism is the worst is has been in 100 years".

100 Years ago, 1925-2025....wasn't there a Holocaust in there somewhere?

MAGA is now slip into 2 camps, both very hostile. "America First" seems VERY rooted in dislike of Israel, but there does also seem to really be an "anti-semetic" root to that movement. Nick Fuentes, Tucker Carlson, Charlie Kirk seemed to be in this group.

The other is the "Israel can do no wrong" camp. Trump is in this camp right now.

What happens when you move to Tulsa, give up your free healthcare, give up your safety (when your kids can be killed at school and school shootings average 1 per DAY) and then Trump dies? MAGA will be anti-Israel probably. And you are stuck in....Tulsa.

Is is safe?

Does Tulsa have the worst crime in the country per capita?
Tulsa police say the city's homicide rate per capita is down this year, but a recent article ranked Tulsa fifteenth among U.S. cities with the highest murder rates per capita.

In 2023, the violent crime rate was 33% higher in the United States than in Canada (334 incidents per 100,000 population versus 252), compared with 2009, when the rate was 77% higher in the United States (406 per 100,000 in the United States versus 230 in Canada). Homicide remains more common in the United States.Oct 8, 2025

So to make a POLITICAL POINT (Israel should be allowed to kill as many people as they want if provoked or attacked) you are going to move your family to a country where your kids could be killed at school (but just because they are human, not because they are Jewish) and the murder rates is MUCH higher than where you live now. God forbid as well, your daughter gets raped and needs an abortion (illegal!!) or someone gets cancer (claim rejected because I bet they say "you got that in Canada!! pre-existing condition!!)

The good news? Canada loses someone who is ok with children being killed, in retaliation for a terrorist act. (HAMAS are the terrorists, not Palestinians, just like Israel is killing them, not Jewish people) And if the US invaded, you would be a collaborator, not fight as a proud Canadian, so its better that you leave. It also seems you are loyal to Israel, not Canada. You should go where your heart is.

Who had "the US, Israel and Russia" all on the same team in 2026? I didn't.

J Rogers replied 2 months ago   #33

FYI to the original poster - my father was a victim of one of the recent vandalizations, where his mezuzah was ripped off his door. Also for what its worth, the ISIS terrorist who was targeting jewish girls, is already out on bail and these relaxed laws makes me fear more my daughters.... so there is a solution, but not Florida. Tulsa Oklahoma!

As you can see from this article thousands of Canadian jews a year are thinking the same thing as you, and acting on it. Just like Spain, Babylon, Rome, Russia, Germany etc. The time to flee is now, as citizenship for terrorists has never been easier.

Here is the site where they assist in helping you immigrate to Tulsa. The serivce offers your family $4,000 USD, and covers lawyers fees and moving costs. DM me for more info, as I know John wasn't very helpful and went on long rants about Netanyahu and Trump while antisemitism is at its worst level in 100 years.

If protests are scaring you in Canada:

This happened yesterday.

BREAKING:
ICE KIDNAPS American citizen grandmother in Minneapolis just for watching them — and then cuts off her wedding ring while in custody!
In Donald Trump’s America, even watching ICE can get you violently thrown to the ground, handcuffed, disappeared for hours, and threatened with pepper spray — even if you’re an American citizen.

Just ask 55-year-old Minneapolis resident Susan Tincher, the first documented observer arrested since Trump’s immigration surge hit the Twin Cities last week.
Tincher woke up early Tuesday to alerts that ICE was snatching her neighbors. She walked outside — alone, unarmed, simply asking an agent whether they were ICE — and within seconds, federal officers had grabbed her, slammed her into the pavement, cuffed her, and stuffed her into an unmarked truck.
Witnesses described the moment as exactly what ICE denies doing: kidnapping.

Video shows three agents dragging Tincher away while neighbors shouted, “Where are you taking her?” ICE offered no answers, no explanation, and no transparency — because that’s how this administration wants it.

Inside the truck, agents warned Tincher that if she “didn’t watch herself,” they’d pull over and hit her with OC pepper spray. She’s 5'4", mid-50s, and committed the “crime” of standing within speaking distance of a federal officer.

Meanwhile, across the street, eight unmarked vehicles — including what one neighbor described as an armed personnel carrier — swarmed a family home in a scene straight out of a military raid. Three neighbors were taken. No one knows where.

And when Tincher’s husband Jim tried to locate his wife? It took hours, even with the help of Rep. Ilhan Omar and Sen. Tina Smith. ICE had hidden her inside the Whipple Federal Building, where she was shackled by the legs, her wedding ring cut off, and held for five hours.
Her injuries — marks on her neck and wrists — are visible. Her resolve is, too.

“It was chilling,” Jim said. “That the government can arrest somebody for doing nothing illegal and throw her down like that.”
Immigration experts say none of this is surprising. ICE repeatedly transfers detainees without notice, flouts constitutional protections, and refuses to disclose where people are taken. One attorney warned that agents are violating rights “on a daily basis.”

But ICE won’t even confirm the Minneapolis arrests — or why they targeted an American citizen simply observing.
Tincher, now free, says the brutality only strengthened her commitment to protect her immigrant neighbors. “I’m just so concerned about our peaceable neighbors being abducted,” she said. “I don’t want this happening in our country.”
Too late — under Trump, it already is.

Foreign tourists entering the United States may soon be required to provide their social media histories from the past five years, as well as their family members’ names and addresses, in order to obtain a travel authorization.

However, Canadian citizens would not be affected by the proposed changes to the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) program.

“Canadian citizens, travelling on a Canadian passport, do not need an Electronic System for Travel Authorization” to enter the U.S., a Global Affairs Canada spokesperson told Global News, adding they are “aware” of the U.S. proposal.

Visitors to the U.S. from nearly four dozen visa-exempt nations — including the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany and Israel — need to apply for an ESTA before entering the country.

The new rules, if approved, would add social media disclosure as “a mandatory data element for an ESTA application,” according to the notice published Wednesday by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Department of Homeland Security.

“The data element will require ESTA applicants to provide their social media from the last five years,” the notice in the U.S. Federal Register says.

The proposal also seeks to add a list of “high value data fields” to the ESTA application, including:

Telephone numbers used in the last five years;
Email addresses used in the last 10 years;
Family member names (parents, spouse, siblings, children) and their dates and places of birth, as well as their residencies;
Family number telephone numbers used in the last five years;
Biometrics such as facial photos, fingerprints, DNA, and iris scans;
Business telephone numbers used in the last five years; and
Business email addresses used in the last 10 years.
CBP estimates travellers filling out an ESTA application will need an extra 22 minutes to provide the additional information.

WASHINGTON – Today, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem announced her decision to terminate the Temporary Protected Status designation of Ethiopia.

“Temporary Protected Status designations are time-limited and were never meant to be a ticket to permanent residency,” said a USCIS spokesperson.

Conditions in Ethiopia no longer pose a serious threat to the personal safety of returning Ethiopian nationals. Since the situation no longer meets the statutory requirements for a TPS designation, Secretary Noem is terminating this designation to restore integrity in our immigration system.

Ethiopian nationals with no other lawful basis for remaining in the United States have 60 days to voluntarily depart the United States. We encourage aliens leaving the United States to use the U.S. Customs and Border Protection CBP Home Mobile App to report their departure from the United States. This is a safe, secure way to self-deport that includes a complimentary plane ticket, a $1,000 exit bonus, and potential future opportunities for legal immigration.

After Feb. 13, 2026, the Department of Homeland Security may arrest and deport any Ethiopian national without status after their TPS has been terminated. If an alien forces DHS to arrest and remove them, they may never be allowed to return to the United States.

@socialquestion

Listen coward, you want to ask me a question, you come see me in person. I'll teach you about some manners.

Sorry everyone, some asshat has 4 profiles and needs to grow up. I am going to ignore him from now on, so we can focus on Waivers.

J Rogers replied 2 months ago   #27

@J Rogers Right so that is drastically different than what you said yesterday where you said you just have to delete very specific inflammatory things about DT. Didn't say a single word about any of that other stuff when we asked you for guidance yesterday. Sorry and you charge people $1,000 a pop??? YIKES lol. Keep grifting buddy.

socialquestion replied 2 months ago   #26

@socialquestion

From my understanding:

if you show any support for Palestine, or anything against Israel, this will be used against you.

If you criticize Trump, or show any support for Democrats, this will be used against you.

If you say racist things about anyone who is not Jewish or White Christian, you are fine.

If you say derogatory things about White people, or anything Anti-Semitic, it will be used against you.

This is anecdotal. Homeland Security is pretending they are not targeting who Trump hates, but in actual fact, I have had clients who have had problems with all of the above.

Does this mean its automatic? No. Some Homeland Security staff (like my friend who works in Hawaii) says he looks, but only acts on anything "terroristic or hate filled". But he said many of his colleagues are much more militant.

This is an attack on Free Speech regardless. I certainly won't be letting Homeland Security look at my phone, so I will not travel to the United States.

I won't compromise being a decent human being over travel. I know many others don;t have the luxury, and I get that. Work, family, for some, they have no choice. Luckily, if Trump likes you/your views, this is your moment. Hopefully, like 1945, these Republicans all get what it coming to them.

J Rogers replied 2 months ago   #25

@J Rogers ??? In the other thread I asked about this and you said simply to just delete inflammatory things off your social media like, DT is a r**ist and p*do... and now you're saying they won't let you in if you say killing children is bad??

We're trying to get actual guidance here. Which one is it? You answered extremely different yesterday.

socialquestion replied 2 months ago   #24

The sad things is, we should ALL want children to be safe. Jewish, Muslim, Arab, Palestinian. And we should all be FREE to express our opinions.

But one group is targeting OPINIONS. Like the United States wanting to see your "OPINION" before they allow you in.

Should we ban someone who says "Killing Israelis is bad"? No. Should we ban someone who says "killing Palestinians is bad"? No.

But Michelle's Doctor and the guy who started this thread are WANTING to go to a country that supports Israel, (to the tune of support and money for weapons) but says "we will ban anyone who says - "killing Palestinians is bad" " No kids should be allowed to die. Of ANY race.

What kind of a PERSON are you?

Olivia Chow gave a speech

B’Nai Brith were upset because she gave this speech.

On November 1, 2025, Mayor Chow attended and gave a speech at an event hosted by the National Council of Canadian Muslims (“NCCM”). The event was held at the Pearson Convention Centre in Brampton. The event description indicates that the event was held in support of “Palestinian state recognition, justice for kids facing unfair consequences for supporting Palestine, sanctions on the Netanyahu government, [and] a two-way arms embargo on the IDF”.

Ron Desantis

-Championed Alligator Alcatraz, a detention facility that is for people with brown skin, and REFUSED Democrats request to make sure it had humane conditions.
-A judge finally closed it, because it WAS INHUMANE.
-supported Trump, who has called for 6 members of congress to be hanged, because they told the Armed Forces not to follow "illegal orders".

He supports a RAPIST, a RACIST and 34 felony CRIMINAL. That is the champion?

Ron Desantis is a PIECE OF SHIT.

He absolutely PANDERS to the Jewish community....but should they be happy about that when he is openly racist? If you like Israel but hate black people and brown people, because that gets you votes...should you not realize that he eventually might throw Israel under the bus, if he thinks it will get him votes? How can you be Jewish, and watch ICE grabbing people, and NOT see Gestapo? You want to go to a country grabbing people off the streets, many who are American Citizens, and feel "safer". Because of protests? A woman had her Hajib ripped off her head in Mississauga, but she isn't going to run to Ron Desantis for protection.

Has he done this before? Yes.

Since Ronald Reagan flew back to California on January 20, 1989, the GOP grass roots had been longing for someone who rejected the old-guard way of doing business and who could speak to their concerns and aspirations. Trump supported policies that appealed to the base in a way that GOP leaders in the DC swamp had been either incapable of doing or unwilling to do.

March 20, 2023

I don’t know what goes into paying hush money to a porn star to secure silence over some type of alleged affair,

Wow. He is as bad as Doug ford.....who LOVED Trump, and now is pretending he didn't.

Olivia Chow also never killed anyone while drinking and driving......unlike the Premier of Saskatchewan. He also LIED about it, so don;t tell me he is "sorry". Sorry people don't cover it up. That's corruption, not contrition.

Show me a SINGLE racist thing that Olivia Chow SAID. I am no "supporter" of hers, specifically, but of course lets attack the Chinese Canadian woman who dared to be a politician. Doug Ford sold drugs in high school, and is under 2 investigations, one by the OPP and one by the RCMP.

But lets trash Olivia Chow for being upset that children are starving. What a fucking WORLD.

@J Rogers Hi John.

Again, I feel that you’re missing the point (hopefully not purposely). Jews are abnormally targeted. It’s Because they have a heavy police presence protecting them that worse doesn’t happen.

I think your last editorial on your recent post was a little patronizing as the vast majority of Jews here in Canada are only here because their grandparents or parents fled Nazi occupied Europe, which started off with “uncomfortable” targeting and harrassment throughout the decade of the 1930s not so different to this. The Nazis and camps didn’t just arise overnight.

Most Jews I know at least view Fleeing to the States now as the same safe haven. Ron Dessntis is certainly more openly protective of Jews than say, Olivia Chow.

Hate Crime in Mississauga

Peel police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man in a suspected hate-motivated assault in Mississauga.

A woman was attacked by an unknown man while walking along Mississauga Valley Boulevard on Dec. 3 around 3:30 p.m., Peel Regional Police said in a news release.

The man, without provocation, allegedly yelled at the woman, forcibly removed her hijab and jacket hood, and pushed her to the ground before fleeing into a nearby wooded area, said police.

The woman was not physically injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as a tall man with a heavy build and was seen wearing a black hoodie with other dark clothes.

Police are requesting residents be cautious while walking alone and to report any suspicious behaviour.

Anyone with information is urged to contact investigators or Crime Stoppers.

Remember in London, 2 Muslims were murdered by a driver while they walked on the sidewalk.

Hate crimes happen against EVERY group. Except, white males in my experience.

Lets hope people wearing a Hajib don't all run to the United States. Of course, the US will accept White South Africans, and anyone willing to pay Trump.

That's not exactly the example of a great place to live, when they prioritize white racists.

J Rogers replied 2 months ago   #19

@MichelleW

I always value your feedback.

As I said, anyone breaking the law in Canada SHOULD and WILL be punished. In Toronto, where he is from, the police have set up Command Centers in the neighbourhoods, to allow more protection for the Jewish community.

The problem to me is that Protesters are NOT attacking Jewish people. They are making them UNCOMFORTABLE. Toronto is NOT allowing any illegal protests. Note that the Freedom Convoy, who were basically white racists, where allowed to camp out in Ottawa for weeks on end. They harassed everyone.

Note, every Ottawa resident did not suddenly flee to the United States.

This poster then says any support for Palestine or opposition to Israel through LEGAL protests is anti-semetic. It is NOT. I support Jewish people, I want them to be safe. But I can criticize Israel, just like I criticized Russia, just like I criticize the US (constantly) and that means I OPPOSE the states position on killing civilians, not Jewish people, or christian people. Many Jew in Canada and Israel are opposed to what they are doing.

Shutting down protests (or restricting people from voicing opposition) and using a real problem, (anti Semitism) to do so, it not only false but demeans the memory of Jews who ACTUALLY were murdered because they were Jewish. For example, on October 6th. The 6 day war. All the other wars where Israel was forced to defend itself.

But there are LIMITS. Israel is going beyond those limits. That is criminal. Jewish people are not to blame, Israels corrupt PM is. (Note he is begging for a pardon, BEFORE his trial)

I am not anti-semitic. But I understand why people are upset at Israel. They should leave non Israelis alone.

As for people fleeing the safety of Canada for the US.....enjoy. MAGA is now being dominated by "American First" and these people think Israel should be cut off. I think Jewish people are always safer in a country with less guns, less crime, and more tolerance. But that is MY opinion.

J Rogers replied 2 months ago   #18

John, I’ve been respectfully watching from the sidelines during this back and forth.

While I agree with your overall sentiment about all children being equal, I believe you’re missing the crux of the original poster’s main argument is that he (and a lot of Jews in Canada that I know, to be honest with you) doesn’t feel safe in his community anymore. While I agree everyone has the right to protest, targeted harrassment - which is what they’ve protests have evolved to shouldn’t be allowed.

To his point, if the KKK or a white nationalist group was going through black neighbourhoods shouting for the cause - every single weekend, I think the mayor and frankly yourself, would be more outspoken.

My family doctor actually is planning on leaving for Florida in March, citing increasing antisemitism worries, so clearly there is a cause for concern that I think we need to be more empathetic towards.

Going on long rants about Israel and Palestine against a Jewish man is kind of proving his point.

I’ve known you for a long time and hope you can reflect on this somewhat.

Wow. And what did they get in return?

Trump has approved

Feb 28 - $3.01 Billion

MAR 1 - $4 billion
