TIMELINES FOR WAIVERS ONLY.

J Rogersposted 1 year ago

Because MANY people log on here to see timelines, not discussions, lets keep THIS thread ONLY for timelines. Then people don;t have to sift through to find out how long they are taking. I was trying to amend the old one but it got deleted, so I saved the last page, and added a bit to it. My apologies if you were looking for old info. The page was getting spammed all the time and had a lot of comments on it.

As for the timeline......when the fees went up the backlog slowed these applications down. That backlog is GONE. They could get every application they have done by Thanksgiving if they want. They do NOT want then done quickly. If this seems like "why would they do that?" then you aren't paying attention. Notice Canada has tariffs for made up reasons, and we have been threatened by Annexation. Notice Russia has not a SINGLE TARIFF. Notice Trump met with Putin in Alaska and got embarrassed. And STILL his "friends" have tariffs and the Russians.....nothing.

sorry everyone, my mistake, this is his FIRST waiver. Not a re-application.

Replies (recent first):

I want to share my personal experience with this forum and my interaction with Ken Scott.

About a year ago, I was looking for help applying for this waiver and came across this forum. I read through it carefully. Other people were also giving advice, including someone named Michelle. At that time, Ken Scott was active in the forum, though he did not come across as rude the way he does now.

I called Michelle and explained my case. I also spoke with Ken about my situation. What stood out to me was how hostile he was. He repeatedly called me back after our initial conversation. During our call, he did not come across as an expert. Instead, he gave the impression that he had inside connections and could secure a September letter for me.

What felt off was how quickly he communicated and how strongly he pushed me to commit. That raised a red flag.

I chose to stay away. He continued calling, so I eventually blocked his number. My instinct at the time was clear. Something was not right, and now it seems I was correct.

It’s so sad Ken and his friends have to post these defamatory posts ….

@Fred Cronin

I can't believe how easy it was to make you and Ken look........like terrible people. I have had 3 calls and 2 emails from people giving me suggestions on how to teach you a lesson, but destroying Ken's business (he is very shady) is kind of ........dumb of you. You literally put his name all over the internet....as a scammer.

Most of the people here are people with family. You literally said the exact wrong things if your trying to cause trouble.

Thank you! Anything else? You are doing a great job of making sure KEN SCOTT never gets another client. Smart!

@Fred Cronin

Oh, you are Ken Scott's friend. Please ignore everyone.

Actually, I should tell everyone what Ken Scott did. He found pictures of me in a wheelchair from 2012. I was paralyzed and in the hospital for 3 months. There is a nice pic of me and my 3 children, who were rightly worried I might never walk again. (Contrast this with being the Canadian No-Gi BJJ champion in 2010)

Ken Scott posted the picture to mock me. So think about what kind of person would do that, take the time to mock a person and his family when he cannot walk.

Thank you for making sure Ken Scott NEVER gets a client on here again. Very smart.

You have 17 more days, which is quite a lot, so don't give up hope.

Re-applications - about 90 days

Her first application. She was in Canada for most of her life, over 65. Never got Citizenship. Travelled often to the US.

She overstayed 43 days. Went and got her citizenship, waited 2 years before applying. We specifically WAITED until after 2 years before trying. (2 years since being turned back)

I think this is a fair result, as we stated, lost track of the days, took responsibility. I was hoping for this, but very HAPPY she can continue travelling.

@J Rogers Hi J Rogers, how can I get a hold of you? I'd like to see if you can help me with something waiver related.

Here is mine got it this week: 5 year reapplication - applied Dec 02 and received yesterday March 26. So to add in another point of data - renewals are taking approximately 3-4 months.

1 year waiver

First waiver.

Note that they asked for more information. When we replied, they granted the waiver 41 minutes later. I always follow up a couple of days later, even if the client doesn't see an email (they didn't in this case) and in this case I was surprised to see a response in less than an hour.

2015 (1) IDENTITY THEFT (2) IDENTITY THEFT

This is what some of you might find interesting. This client had a 28K restitution. Paid only $200 on it. And Homeland Security ASKED about "payment of restitution, or explain why you have not paid it".

I noticed on the court documents, that they gave her 15 years to pay it. But when I responded, although I did mention it, I had to explain that she had INTENTION to pay it, had paid a bit, but she was working on paying it. I wasn't sure how they would respond, but they did give her the waiver.

@Idiots together

Thank you for the prompt and the falsehoods. Gave me a chance to once again warn everyone about Ken Scott. Now you can stop pretending you are a waiver client.

J Rogers replied 1 month ago   #611

@Idiots together (obviously Ken Scotts friend I was talking about)

And see everyone? Ken Scotts little buddy was asking BULLSHIT questions, because Ken Scott DOESN'T know that when you have a pardon (or sequestration) Homeland Security USUALLY asks for Privacy Act.

This should be explained to EVERY client, and they be given the OPTION to do Privacy Act fingerprints BEFORE the waiver is submitted.

If a company cannot fingerprint (Not accredited by the RCMP) do not use them. First of all, anyone with a REAL office fingerprints. Why wouldn't you? Yesterday we had 10 sets of fingerprints throughout the day that were not pardon or waiver related. That's 10 people who PAID us just for fingerprints.

1. Ken Scott does not have an office. He uses a business center. (he rents an office hourly when he needs it) During covid he claimed to be in Canada and was doing videos from Surrey....but it was Surrey UK. The location CLEARLY showed that. He is not a Canadian.

2. Ken himself states he will not use Esafe. (he has posted in this VERY forum that eSAFE is not better) That's how I knew this was probably a problem timewise because of that. When you do not use Esafe, they have to MAIL you a request for the Privacy Act fingerprints. But they STILL only give you 87 days. This guy in panicking because it probably took 7-8 days for the letter to arrive from Virginia to British Colombia, and now by the time he got ahold of Ken (probably in the UK) now the panic sets in because the fingerprints are getting close to the 87 days.

3. With Esafe, he would have had that request THE SAME DAY. Then 87 days is NOT a problem unless it is lost in the mail. Also, this person NEEDS to go someplace OTHER than Ken who cannot fingerprint, and on top of THAT delay, the RCMP has to mail it all the way to BC from Ottawa.

Lesson?
-Use someone you KNOW is reliable.
-Make sure they fingerprint. They then are checked out, and they have something to lose if they don't live up to what they agreed to do
-Make sure they explain WHY they think you will GET a waiver, or at least what LENGTH of waiver. I can draw upon a high volume of recent waivers to justify my predictions
-Don't use a lawyer. Use a lawyer for things you NEED a lawyer for. Use a Waiver Expert for waivers. But I also cannot draw up a will or defend you in court.

**If someone claims "I used to work at this________, so therefore I am good at waivers, well, DID they actually do that? Ken Scott claims he worked at all types of places and is a borderline ninja. But he is really middle aged guy from the UK, NEVER went to University or had a job with the US government, but he can CLAIM anything. Ken used to KNOW Waiver because he DID waivers. Now no one uses him, and he is out of the loop. ****

J Rogers replied 1 month ago   #610

@J Rogers well that’s not true because I met him in Surrey bc at his office so that doesn’t really make sense what u said there haha nor did u answer my question u just got dick hard over another person I’ve actually met 3-4 times at that same office so that’s a for sure lLIE he also told me ur 4 feet tall and u not a LAWYER AND HE ACTUALLY IS and said u work for ur wife’s fingerprinting shop that’s crazy both of u are idiots tbh lol

Idiots together replied 1 month ago   #609

@Bindyyy joall

Ken Scott has been talked about here on the forum at length. Its his friend making all the negative comments. (under many names)

Ken Scott SHOULD have known, except for 2 things. 1. No one uses him anymore, because he doesn't even live in Canada. 2. He refuses to do waivers (I assume its still true) through eSAFE. Which slows EVERYTHING down.

Did he use Esafe? I assume you did this all online? He doesn't have an actual office, just a mailbox and a business center he uses for people who insist on meeting.
