Do you need to do anything on CBP site after getting decision?

travelloverposted 1 year ago

I am just bit confused .....I received my 5 year waiver on August 29th and printed it...
this morning I got this email,.....I am thinking it is just a reminder in case you had not printed it...Does the decision leave the site and not able to print it after 30 days?.....thanks'

You have 10 days remaining to print the Admissibility Review Office decision issued on 8/29/2022 6:00 PM.

Individual users who have submitted their own application can check its status at https://e-SAFE.cbp.dhs.gov.

Applicants with an attorney/accredited representative will receive e-SAFE email notifications relating to their application but should contact their attorney or accredited representative for status updates or additional information.

Attorney/accredited representative can check the status of their applicants application at https://e-SAFE.cbp.dhs.gov

Yes. I have clients who miss the 2 emails they send. Then they take the waiver OUT of your profile.

Technically you then file an I-824 and pay $465USD to get a copy. We have been fortunate to have a different plan so clients don't have to pay, but yes, your screwed.

What if you missed the 30day window because you missed the email. Are you screwed?

@JohnB2 Sure I will take a picture.

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by "You can't have too many copies floating around". Did you say that for privacy reasons or did you say that because CBP can create issues for me if they find it in my bags etc.

@skumar

Take a picture and keep it on your phone, too. You can't have too many copies floating around

@skumar

Yes you save it on the computer, then print it as needed.

@J Rogers I believe we can still save it as PDF in our computer or so.

My question will be what if we loose the printout? We certainly want to print it multiple times from some place. If their site only allows for 30 days, does it mean we need to print it ample times at once (say 20 times) that will hopefully cover for the entire period of coverage.
Even then, I can always scan the first print and save it as a PDF and then reprint it as needed.
What is your suggestion on this?

@travellover

Yes this is just a reminder that you have 10 days. You cannot print the decision out after that,.
