I was just wondering if it is possible to get a visa to work in the U.S. If I have a 3 or 5 year waiver? I know you can do the usual stay up to 183 days, but I was curious if anyone has received a work visa when they have a waiver.
Thanks for any input
i got approved as b1/b2 entry but i am a student and i want to complete my degree only two semester left and i mentionned everything on my form and acknowledge that i am a student and which university i am attending. what should i do? just enter like that and continue my studies? i am canadian citizen
@Craig114 absolutely. The waiver "waves" your inadmissibility so you can leisure travel, work and even live in the US. Just make sure you mention your intent (to work) on your application. Once your waiver is approved you can move onto applying for an H1B work visa or whatever.
