We had a client who paid Federal Pardons to do a pardon. They are in Etobicoke (west end of Toronto)
They aren't even accredited, so had to send him elsewhere to pay for fingerprints.
Pardon cost? Over $1800 CDN. That does not include fingerprints, and only includes 1 police check (he needs 2) and does not include the Government fees for the Parole Board.
For his measurable benefits, he is REQUIRED to pay $800 extra. so he
can talk to a social worker to do his measurable benefits
Seriously.
Comparison:
We charge $995 total including fingerprints (which we do) and excluding the Police checks and Parole Board fee. Most pardons cost between $1100 and $1300 CDN TOTAL. And we do EVERYTHING.
Its terrible that they can get away with this. Charge a reasonable amount, be accredited, and also do ALL the work.
