Travelled in October, had to go through secondary at YYZ. Waited about 40 mins. They asked me where I'm going, why, for how long, asked me to confirm the address I'm staying at and mostly made sure I'm staying at that address the entire time. That was it.

Thanks for confirming. Yes I go through exact same questions. This time around I also have letter from employees telling them that I won't be making money while in US and coming back :-) My other issue is that I was born in one of the countries that is in US list so I get extra questions !!

I've been a couple times recently (August and September).

Unfortunately gone through secondary both times - annoying as up until this year that wasn't the case.

first time was about a 25-30 minute wait. second time was only a 10-minute wait.

I came prepared, ready to answer their questions. Their biggest concern is that you overstay and don't leave. So obviously they ask: how long are you staying for? Where are you staying? When are you leaving? What do you do for work?

those are the 4 questions I get asked everytime and if you show them a return date and have a job then you should be fine.

one time they weirdly asked me, "have you been in any trouble since you got this waiver?" Odd thing to ask considering they could easily see if I have - hence why I need the waiver to begin with! But the correct answer is: "No, sir."
