Have you even clicked the "sponsors" that advertise on this Forum? I did. What a surprise.

J Rogersposted 3 years ago

The advertisement says "fast pardons in 6 months" already a bogus claim.

And why? Well they hide their identity pretty well at first. But one of the "organizations" they claim to belong to is "Te Pardon Society of Canada".

I did a little research and guess what? Only ONE company is a member of this "society". Pardons Canada on St Clair in Toronto.

This is what they have written on their page about the "Pardon Society Of Canada".

We recently co-founded the Pardon Association of Canada in order to help Canadians with obtaining pardons and US Waivers.

There are many pardon service providers on the web and it can be very confusing for the public. Many providers advertise “fastest service” or “the fastest pardon in Canada”. These claims are entirely misleading and many Canadians have been tricked by these tactics.

In addition, the pardon service provider industry is unregulated so anyone can advertise that they help get pardons, but how skilled and prepared are they at actually doing the job? The pardon process can be a long and complicated process that requires skilled staff to wade through the paperwork and organize it so that the pardon can be completed. Oftentimes, these fly by night pardon service providers advertising on the web are under staffed and ill-equipped to handle the volume of paperwork.

The end result is that the person who has started the pardon process with these pardon service providers who are not entirely legitimate is caught in a lengthy and frustrating process whereby their pardon may or may not be completed and there is no service along the way.

The Pardon Association of Canada is designed to help Canadians avoid these fishy pardon providers by creating a forum for legitimate pardon service providers who abide by the guidelines set out by the Pardons Association to protect the consumer and ensure transparent and efficient pardon service.

In addition, with the upcoming changes to the Pardon legislation as set out in Bill C23, the industry needs a champion and voice to speak out in defence of those seeking pardons in Canada.

Pardons Canada undertakes all necessary steps and procedures for removing your criminal record, including: Pardons/Record Suspensions, Purges, Photograph & Fingerprint Destruction, and U.S. Entry Waivers.

So here is the irony. Pardons Canada created this "fake" organization to make themselves look legitimate, and also to pretend you have to "watch out for some pardon companies".

Ironically, THEY do all the things they rail against.

Pardons Canada does the following;
-they make the client do all the work
-they refuse to do ANY of the work outside of the court documents
-they have commission salespeople who don't care if the client is eligible
-they never reveal ALL the costs
-they pretend to be a "not for profit" organization
-Ian Levine chose the name because he knew people would think he was part of the Government of Canada
-They are impossible to get on the phone once you are a client.
-they make misleading adds like the one on this forum where they hide their identity.
-there is no PARDON SOCIETY. Another attempt at deception because they are reviled by clients.
-When a client is denied a pardon, they get NO help. I have been paid by many of these client to help them when they were denied and we usually win the appeal.
-They pretend fingerprints for pardons expire and then charge fees if the application has to be "re-started"
-they pretend you can do more than "seal" a record once the pardon is granted. (I have wrote about this) They charge $1000 for a phony "file destruction"

I have had 3 former staff members come to my office at various times and try and sell me stolen "leads" they get off the internet from forums like this. They tell me Andrew and his wife run the company, are generally hated by their staff and make a shitload of money ripping people off

Pardons Canada makes this entire industry look bad. You can create a good business model based on transparency and honesty. Michelle and I are examples of that. A good product does not need tricks or deception.

@KenScott

So your ACTUALLY so unable to take action yourself, that your hoping ANOTHER company can make me stop telling the truth on this forum?
Whats sad is your SUCH a liar about EVERYTHING, that if you had really contacted them, you would at least mention the owners name. But its fiction.

Worse, I make a post about a company that does unethical things, and you even see Michelle agree, and you TAKE THEIR SIDE? Without refuting any of my points, you literally want to help the UNETHICAL over the person bringing their deceptive practices to light.

How do you think that makes you look to jazzsax and everyone else in this forum? Do you think it makes you trustworthy?

Here is the truth. You do a better waiver that Pardons Canada, who do a HORRIBLE waiver (I have seen hundreds of their waivers over the years) but you are SO similar. You pretend to be something you are not, and engage in deception to gain clients. I get a lot of former Pardons Canada clients and I have also had 2 of yours. If you were busier, I would get plenty more of your clients, but things aren't going so well, are they?

I think what made me laugh most about this is how you constantly "pretend" you have all these "big gang members" as clients, but in reality you act like a little snitch. Your constantly saying your "going to tell on me" to Homeland Security (for helping Canadians) and "I am forwarding this to Pardons Canada" like a little bitch snitch. Make sure that makes it into your "lawsuit". "John pointed out I was a bitch, which caused me great mental distress".

I don't care, I just like pointing out what a little bitch that makes you sound like. I guess it is good that the "gang members" actually are fictional, or else they would take exception to that part of your personality.

I have just made contact with Pardons Canada on the phone and have passed on this link. This post by the creator of room(John Rogers of pweservices.com) constitutes an act of Defamation of Character as he has no direct knowledge of the inner workings of this company. They now have the option of pursuing legal action, and we will provide them any assistance as they request.

John Rogers is acting as an agent for the aforementioned company that does digital fingerprinting in Brampton.

I will not bash Pardons Canada since I have no direct evidence of them defrauding people and have no knowledge of their internal operating procedures. Their current and former clients may or may have their own opinion regarding this post but it is not my place to facilitate engaging in acts that constitute Defamation of Character of this business. I will make contact with them today to make them aware of this posting. They can then decide if they wish to pursue legal action based on its content.

I also have obtained some surprisingly critical information from the Canadian government that will be of great interest to people here on this forum. I will need a few days to make the proper presentation in regard to posting it.

@KenScott I focused on someone other than you, but you need th stop this bullshit term. You don't charge more than Michelle and I. Therefore we aren't "discounted". Pardons Canada and other places that do waivers do a terrible job on waivers (as do most immigration lawyers) because they don't put the time and effort into it, AND because they take a cookie cutter approach, in many cases, making the client do the majority of the work.

Michelle and I are keeping it to our frustration at the poor job they do, and focusing on THEM, but there are OTHER companies that promise things that cannot deliver. If you use that deceptive term again THAT organization could easily become part of THIS thread.

J Rogers replied 3 years ago   #4

The simple truth is that these Discount Waiver Companies are the main drivers behind these pardon scams. They have not had the proper training nor the appropriate resources to clear these border crossing cases. This will continue until they are eventually out of business.

@Michelle

The original owner of Pardons Canada was Ian Levine. Know how he found out how to use Waiver forms? He called me and gave me his credit card and did a pardon and waiver over the phone. I shipped him the finished product and then he "declined" the sale on the credit card. It was too late once I realized he was the owner of Pardons Canada. I still have the file.

After 9/11 the best place to file waivers was Pearson Airport. Why? Because those waiver were shipped to Minnesota and adjudicated there. They were VERY lenient and I insisted at that time my clients file there. Pardons Canada copied it to such a degree that YEARS later, when all Waivers were being adjudicated in Herndon Va (same as today) they were still telling clients "go to Pearson, you will get a longer waiver".

I understand not everyone is "into" waivers like I am, but the total disregard for doing anything but the shittiest job possible and simply buying clients through being the top of the google search is repulsive. I wonder how they pay for advertising here, who are they paying for this space exactly?

John, good catch...I remember when Express Pardons created something similar to this, but using the Better Business info on their site to direct all reviews to their website. They gave every company including mine a terrible review, except Express Pardons.. I filed a legal complaint as slander against my company with the BBB and boy did they go after Express Pardons...it wasn't long after that the Express went out of business...
