E-Safe Appointments will be made online as of July 14th

Up until July 14th keep using the same procedure. For dates after that you use

1. Got to CPB.GOV

2. You locate your port

3. If there is a green rectangle, you use the system to make an appointment

4. No green rectangle there will be other instructions. For example Sweetgrass Montana simply says 24 hour access. Buffalo - all 3 ports have appointments.

The Appointments seem very easy to make, its a fairly intuitive website

Replies (recent first):

I just checked today about appointments and helped a client. There are TONS of appointments at the Buffalo border now, at all 3 bridges.

So as long as you make it online, no need to panic, getting an appointment is easy. Which doesn't surprise me, much fewer people are doing waivers now despite the fact they are catching way more people.

I have 3 client trying to make appointments this week before the July 14th and Homeland Security is "claiming" that they have no appointments "left" before the 14th. This is at Buffalo. So a client went on and made one for the 15th. I went on to assist him and after he made his appointment, the NEXT one was the 22nd. So don't assume its as easy as before to get a quick appointment.
