Is there anyone who came to Canada from the US and later became a citizen here? I have overstay in the US and I am inadmissible as a result of this. I know the d3 waiver takes care of this but I will love to know if there’s anyone who is also in the same boat. Thank you
@sofiyatmotunrayogmailcom If you qualify you can eventually get a "green card". You will just have to apply for an extra I-601 when they tell you too and your application will be much slower, but its absolutely not only possible, but I have quite a few clients who go on to do this. You have to be careful, because they CAN limit your waiver sometimes if they think you simply want to return to the US.
What are the chances of getting d3 waiver approved and also getting a visa afterwards?
