There are rare exceptions, but whether you file a waiver, or a waiver AND an I-212 you simply get a waiver in return. That's why I tell clients to wait. Its an extra $930USD for the exact same waiver.

Fake Passport in 1991 then tried to re-enter in 2000. Still this is not a great result for someone who did something wrong so long ago, so something tells me there might be more that we were not told when we applied. This should be a 5 year waiver for sure.
Also the client almost missed the waiver result, they only saw the "you have only 10 days left..." message missed the initial "you have 30 days..." message.
