Handing in Waivers -Quarantine and timelines - Post here

Post real application stories here. Not "A guy told me" or "a few of my clients" but specific client experiences so others can see accurately what is happening.

There are rare exceptions, but whether you file a waiver, or a waiver AND an I-212 you simply get a waiver in return. That's why I tell clients to wait. Its an extra $930USD for the exact same waiver.

Sorry, that was meant for the response below

Sorry June 14th, not 16th.

Did a follow-up on my application and received the following message. I hope this is a positive sign.

“ This application is on file with the CBP Admissibility Review Office (ARO). It is currently pending further review. Due to the individual circumstances of each waiver application, there is not a set timeframe to give as to when an application decision will be completed.

Forms I-192/I-212 waiver applications are processed in the order in which they are received. Additional information regarding processing times (currently at least 6 months) can be found at www.cbp.gov and accessed by entering “I-192” or “I-212” in the “SEARCH” box.”

@J Rogers Has there been any new updates with wavier approvals? My fiancé submitted everything at the Champlain port of entry May 24th and we are waiting patiently in hopes to travel for the holidays. Any update would be greatly appreciated as we having been following updates as a guideline of when his turn is up next. If there is another thread would you be so kind to share the link. Thank you!

@J Rogers it’s 5 years.

My 1st was 1yr that was last year, this week which was 2nd waiver. I got 5 yrs. Unless I get from state dept via regular B1/B2 visa that would be 10 yrs.

David79 replied 4 months ago   #1251

@David79

Lets get you a 5 year next time. 1 year for a 15 year old anything is not a great result. Glad it finally came.

@David79 Congrats! Such good news.

@J Rogers thanks for responding. I believe ever complain that is made. They lack professionalism and they tell you what they think you want to hear. They take your money and then you have to chase them for updates. I paid $2200 for their services and was told that if I wanted them to upload the documents to ESAFE then I would have to pay an additional fee“We are offering a service to assist with uploading your documents to the E-Safe portal for a fee of $550 plus HST”. I questioned this and challenged this and I didn’t have to pay.

Here are my last few waivers. Basically as of last week ( I haven't gotten any this week) they were only at May 9th

This means if you went in May, you are close. This is through eSAFE ONLY.

If you did NOT use eSAFE, then you are at least a month behind that timeline.

The eSAFE website itself says 6-12 months, although that is not accurate because we are less than 7 months for sure.

I track EVERY waiver here or that my clients get, and I also have contacts with other people that do Waivers in Montreal and Regina, and I am usually ahead of them because of volume.

https://servicesofcanada.help/

Look at how these scammers make this look like a government portal. This is "record removal services of Canada". Deliberate attempt to deceive.

J Rogers replied 4 months ago   #1245

@SouthernBBQ Can you post link please?

Careybox replied 4 months ago   #1244

@Chance22343

This same company was called "Provincial Pardons and Waivers" same address.

They are NOT accredited by the RCMP. (RED FLAG)

https://www.bbb.org/ca/on/concord/profile/pardon-services/provincial-pardon-waiver-services-inc-0107-1342443/complaints

This is a link to a complaint made against them with the BBB. Read the dialogue, this company is clearly terrible and I have heard complaints about them as well.

Never use ANYONE who does not do their own fingerprints. The companies that accredit people to do fingerprints are ALWAYS trying to get more places accredited. If they are not, they have an issue, usually to do with the RCMP not trusting them.

They told you the short timeline to get your money. They know they will never see you again.

Any company that changes their name or goes under multiple names is a problem.

Another red flag? Trying to sound or look too much like the government.

J Rogers replied 4 months ago   #1243

@Chance22343 5-6months right now. There's another thread where J Rogers is posting full timelines. Your consultants were wrong. Wish it was 4 to 6 weeks.

SouthernBBQ replied 4 months ago   #1242

Applied for my second waiver with the help of R.R.S.C and did my biometrics on June 17, 2023. I was told by R.R.S.C that it would only take 4/6 weeks or less for me to get the approval and I am still waiting 🤷🏼‍♀️. Any idea on the timeline cause clearly they lied and charged me a lot?

Chance22343 replied 4 months ago   #1241

@J Rogers zatzman says it takes 6 weeks for them to respond so I'm not sure also when I inquired they said they received the panel physician receipt on Nov 14 so I guess that is not a standard response and someone on aro end is replying to my inquiries? Also have u had a client like me that had to go to a panel physician? If so how were the timeliness?

Samson364785898888 replied 4 months ago   #1240

@Samson36478589888

So you could be waiting a while. The dates of people who don't go to a panel physician or are outside the "normal" timelines have nothing to do with your application now. There is no way to predict how much longer. And there is no use inquiring, its the same response.

J Rogers replied 4 months ago   #1239

This is what they emailed me when I inquired about my 8 months wait
Adjudication of your waiver request in process after receipt of the physician panel examination, received 11/14/2023.

I asked if they received the report from doctor zatzman and he left a good report for me

Samson36478589888 replied 4 months ago   #1238

@J Rogers its the panel physician evaluation it takes 6 weeks to get a response back once they receive the good report from the doctor wich he left for me soo not sure .. they emailed me saying it's under adjudication so what does that mean in process correct?

Samson36478589888 replied 4 months ago   #1237

@Samson36478589

You are at a supervisor for sure then. This means they either aren't sure if they should grant it, or there is some other situation.

It does not mean your waiver WON'T be granted, but when your waiver is denied they DO have to write a detailed explanation which takes much longer.
